Here are the photos from Christmas 2007 and our first family trip to California. Alexa's first plane ride went very smooth. She loved just standing in the aisle and looking at people. She played with her toys and barely made a peep. The only time we had a problem is on the flight out there, we didn't give her a nap thinking she would sleep in the plane. She did not want sleep, so when we tried to force her to sleep, she got pissed. On the ride back, she had her normal nap and didn't make a peep on the plane. Jason and I were both very worried that the plane ride would be big problems, but we were so thrilled at how well Alexa liked the flight and didn't have any ear problems. When we landed in Minnesota, she turned to me and said "more". California weather was great ... 65 degress ... cold for Californians, but warm to us. Alexa got to go to the park every day and see the beach. She did not like touching the water since it was freezing. She got to wear her new Crocs the whole time, so she really looked like a Cali girl. We did Christmas night with Sheryl and Bob. Bob's kids and their family and his sister was there. It was a wonderful evening. We hung out with Harvey a couple days. Alexa even managed to break a glass and spill a chocolate malt on his pants. We hit the Birch Aquarium and got to touch spikey and gooey things. It was a great trip and it flew by very fast.
